AGM

10/18/2017

What a Great turnout for our Annual General Meeting October 12 at the Commanda Community Centre!
We wish to thank the members of our executive for putting it all together as well as our wonderful speakers Claude Aumont from OTMPC, Jake & Mike from our local Argyle Riders Snowmobile Club, and Kate Monk & James Murphy from our regional Tourism Organization RTO12/Explorers Edge.
The Takeaway message is we are kicking butt in our slow and steady approach to Tourism and business in our region.

Water Testing

7/15/2017

It was set up this spring for business operators to take their water samples to Roxie's Diner on or before 10 am, the first Monday of every month until November. So I only have a few email address' for people, so if you know of anyone else that has to submit watersamples can you please tell them that as of tomorrow there will be a cooler with ice packs in it on the back step of Roxies every first Monday also and to make sure your water sample is placed in it that morning with paper work and the costs per test - $29.50 I believe, and the gentleman that is responsible for this will pick them up and take them to NNL at 10 am. Spread the word! Thanks and if this doesn't apply to you, please forward to a business it would.

Hello,
I am drafting this letter on July 1st so Happy Canada Day to all of you.  I hope this will be a good season/year for everyone.  With the rain, Black flies and Mosquitoes this year we just don’t seem to get a break.  Al has spent most of his time cutting grass (and if you know Al he is not happy).
This letter is to give you an update on what your Executive has been busy doing.
