Please join us for our next meeting. We generally have a meeting the 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:30am at Jakes Place Restaurant in Port Loring.
We hope to see some of you there. What a Great turnout for our Annual General Meeting October 12 at the Commanda Community Centre! We wish to thank the members of our executive for putting it all together as well as our wonderful speakers Claude Aumont from OTMPC, Jake & Mike from our local Argyle Riders Snowmobile Club, and Kate Monk & James Murphy from our regional Tourism Organization RTO12/Explorers Edge. The Takeaway message is we are kicking butt in our slow and steady approach to Tourism and business in our region. "Bigger isn't Better, Better IS BETTER!"- Kate Monk Explorers Edge It was set up this spring for business operators to take their water samples to Roxie's Diner on or before 10 am, the first Monday of every month until November. So I only have a few email address' for people, so if you know of anyone else that has to submit watersamples can you please tell them that as of tomorrow there will be a cooler with ice packs in it on the back step of Roxies every first Monday also and to make sure your water sample is placed in it that morning with paper work and the costs per test - $29.50 I believe, and the gentleman that is responsible for this will pick them up and take them to NNL at 10 am. Spread the word! Thanks and if this doesn't apply to you, please forward to a business it would.
