New snowmobile trail signs were popular wayfinding New trail in area Pat Hauff Way Ann Board gave out extra Bike Ontario kits Financials Presented by Barb Dougherty We went over our projected budget by $5,341.32, but still have over $16,000 in the bank. Discussion by members as to overage. Polly Rupert asked for an explanation of Deer Yard expenses and whether they were ongoing at these amounts or a one of. Hilary explained signage and brushing out expenses were a one time, but some ongoing expenses would occur. Need to create “Friends of the Deer Yard” to encourage donations to offset expense. Excess brochures will be given to who needs them Highway signs one of expense to upgrade. Hospitality Area, specialty coffee, gift shop, conference room, they will feed groups and hold conferences. Paddle boards, kayak, canoe rentals. * Beach is open to the public. New members Minnehaha Ian & Joan owners for 1.5 years. They had 18 teams compete in their fishing tournament, 26lbs was the winning weight. Dave from Restoule Provincial Park, wants to increase visitor stays at the park.
